PUBLIC TRANSPORT FROM INSIDE THE NETHERLANDS ON FRIDAY
A great way to travel to Defqon.1 is by public transport. Plan your trip on 9292.nl, from your home to train station Dronten. From there, a shuttle bus service will take you to the Defqon.1 Camping Ground.
Good news for Weekend Warriors who want to travel to Defqon.1 by public transport from inside The Netherlands. You can purchase a combined ticket for train and shuttle bus for a fixed price, so it’s valid for all train stations inside The Netherlands. These combined tickets will be sold in a seperate sale, you will receive more info about this via e-mail after you have personalised your Defqon.1 ticket.
Of course, you can also buy a single shuttle bus ticket (two-way) in advance for €8,- online. A limited number of shuttle bus tickets will be available in the bus for €15,-. To avoid a fully packed bus, we recommend ordering your shuttle bus ticket in advance.
The shuttle buses leave on Friday between 13:00 and 22:00 (CEST) from train station Dronten. The shuttle buses leave on Sunday between 18:00 and 22:00 (CEST) from the Defqon.1 Camping Ground, and on Monday between 9:00 and 14:00 (CEST).
It’s a 15-minute drive from train station Dronten to the festival site. It’s not recommended to walk from the train station to the festival site!
On Saturday and Sunday, Defqon.1 Weekend Festival will not be reachable by public transport for day visitors. There won’t be a shuttle bus service available between surrounding train stations and the festival site, the shuttle buses on Sunday are for weekend visitors only.
If you are travelling from inside The Netherlands, you can book a bus ticket at Event Travel. This way, Defqon.1 Weekend Festival is still very easy to reach for visitors who aren’t able or willing to go by car. The bus takes a ‘door-to-door’ route, and you will be dropped off, and picked up next to the festival entrance.
You can order your bus tickets in combination with your Defqon.1 entrance tickets, but it’s also possible to purchase a separate bus ticket.
Is your boarding location of choice not included in the schedule? When you’re traveling to Defqon.1 Weekend Festival with more than 15 people who all want to board at the same place, Event Travel will arrange a pick-up for you!
